Academics
Livingstone Adventist Academy has had four senior classes. We are proud that over 90% of these graduates have gone on to college. LAA places great emphasis on the scholastic development of its students and maintains firm standards for students participating in sports and other extra curricular activities.

The LAA curriculum for grades K-12 follows the standards set by the Education Department of the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The Adventist school system is the largest Protestant school system in the world with over 80% of its graduates continuing on to college. On an average, less than 40% of public school graduates go to college.
LAA offers both college preparatory and general diplomas. Our Academy curriculum (grades 9-12) includes a comprehensive math program: pre-calculus, algebra I & II, geometry, pre-algebra and consumer math; and a well-rounded science program: anatomy & physiology, biology, chemistry, physical science, and physics.
LAA offers a full complement of classes in English and social studies, including history, government, and economics. LAA also offers two years of Spanish.
Business courses include computer literacy, yearbook, and journalism.
Elective classes are broad in scope ranging from drama, web page design, fitness, wilderness, drawing and mixed media, choir, praise team, and hand bells.
All academy level students are automatically enrolled in a religion class each semester.
